SATEKO semi-rigid endoscopes are a professional equipment for examining large cavities, tanks and vessels for liquids. Main feature of the semi-rigid probes is the ability to keep their shape at the certain length or a “shape memory effect”. A semi-rigid probe has a self-supporting ability (the ability not to bend under its own weight) with a 'knee' of up to 1 meter long, depending on the diameter of the probe and the diameter of the camera mounted on the probe.
In particular, semi-rigid probes are used to perform the following tasks:
A base of the SATEKO semi-rigid probes is a steel structure called a 'goose neck'. It gives the probe the feature of a “shape memory effect”, simultaneously providing a high strength of the probe. Coating of the SATEKO semi-rigid probes is always polymer. This allows the probes to be resistant towards water and technical fluids in the environment of inspection.
